YHVH | Passover Feast of Unleavened Bread Extravaganza

YHVH Instructions to Moses & Aaron

In Exodus 12, we read that YHVH instructed Moses and Aaron in advance, at least before the 10th of the month of the Aviv, that the Israelites should select lambs on the10th of the month, sacrifice and roast them on the evening of the 14th, sprinkle the blood on the doorposts, gird up their loins, put on their shoes, put their staffs in hand, and eat the lambs in haste inside their homes with unleavened bread and bitter herbs…that the angel of death would “pass over” their houses and that YHVH would lead them out of Egypt the selfsame day.

Aaron and Moses were further instructed before the first Passover in Egypt that Israel’s future generations must observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days as a memorial forever so that they would always remember their ancestors’ deliverance from bondage by the strong arm of YHVH. What Moses and Aaron couldn’t have understood in advance was that this ordinance would commemorate something that would soon be happening to the Israelites, the details and circumstances of which they couldn’t have anticipated or imagined beforehand.

YHVH Feast of Unleavened Bread Prophesied

Exodus 12 goes on to tell us that, being thrust out of Egypt, the people took their dough with them before it was leavened and bound up their kneading troughs in their clothes upon their shoulders. Then, since they hadn’t had time to tarry and wait for their dough to rise or to prepare any other food ahead of time, they baked unleavened cakes to eat on their journey. It sounds as if they had every intention of letting their dough rise had they had enough time, and that they didn’t intend to eat only unleavened bread for six more days after the Passover. Feast of Unleavened Bread

Since the destruction of the Temple, it is no longer possible to keep Passover – but that does not stop us from joyfully rehearsing the prophetic realities embedded in Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Each year, the Messiah is again typified in the substitutionary offering of “the Lamb of God” – and each year we engage in the dress rehearsal for the most glorious of all upcoming celestial events: The Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Passover is our yearly opportunity to inspect our own wedding garments and prepare our hearts in anticipation of the last trumpet. One glorious day, in the not-so-distant future, Yahshua will lift a cup of wine for the first time in nearly 2,000 years, and he will commence the pinnacle of all dining experiences with a toast to the Most High Majesty of the Universe. Messiah assured us that this magnificent event would not be compromised by those who had not prepared their garments in advance.

The Hebraic Roots.

Hebraic roots stem from a movement based off of the protestant agrupation.
